An Everwall alternative when you only need X
Everwall sells event social walls, including a self-service plan and a fuller service with a setup fee. MentionWall sells an X wall and a scoreboard for a one-time price. The dollar figures below are copied from Everwall’s pricing pages and can change.
Everwall’s event social wall pricing page lists self-service at $49 per event day, and a 30-day self-service pass at $399. The same page lists add-ons, including moderation and branding removal, priced per day. Their full-service page lists $299 per event day plus a setup fee. A block of JSON-LD on the self-service page has also shown a different unit price than the $49 in the visible copy. We cite the visible $49 and $399, and we link the page so you can check it.
Everwall is not X-only. MentionWall is. We are not claiming Everwall’s moderation, SMS, or on-site support, and we do not offer those. If you need a person to approve posts or to stand in the venue, Everwall’s full-service line is a different category of purchase.
MentionWall checkout charges ₹2,499 for one event or ₹5,999 for three, before a coupon. That is not “per day.” A three-day conference is still one event in MentionWall, with 40 syncs and an open-wall interval of about 10 minutes, each sync capped at 20 posts from 6 hours. You do not get Everwall’s moderation console in exchange for that.
Side by side
| Topic | MentionWall | Everwall |
|---|---|---|
| Price we can cite | ₹2,499 for 1 event, ₹5,999 for 3 (one-time, before any coupon). ₹1,498 less than three single events. Credits last 12 months. | Self-service page: $49 per event day, and $399 for a 30-day pass. Full-service page: $299 per event day plus setup. Check the pages; they can change. |
| Networks | X only. Hashtags, keywords, and @handles. | Their pages describe an event social wall, not an X-only feed. We are not listing every source they support. |
| Screen login | No attendee login. Public /w/ link for the screen. | Self-service is described as something you create yourself. Full-service is a produced wall. |
| After the event | Mentions by day, author leaderboard, likes, replies, shares, impressions. Engagement is likes + replies + shares. | Not summarized from their pricing page. |
| Moderation | No approval queue. Replies are off unless you enable them. | Self-service page lists self-moderation and managed moderation as paid add-ons. |
| Branding | Watermark on the free wall. Removed on a paid pack. | Their pricing page lists branding removal as a daily add-on on self-service, and as included on the 30-day pass. |
When MentionWall fits
- The conversation is on X and you have a screen.
- You would rather pay once per event than per day plus add-ons.
- You want author and engagement ranks more than a designed broadcast look.
When it does not
- You need managed moderation or an on-site operator.
- You need networks other than X.
- You want a produced wall with a setup engagement. That is their full-service offer, not ours.
Questions
Is $49 the price MentionWall charges?
No. $49 per event day is Everwall’s published self-service figure. MentionWall charges ₹2,499 or ₹5,999 in INR, one-time, before a coupon.
Do you include moderation?
No. Replies can be left off. There is no queue and no managed moderation service.
Why mention a JSON-LD mismatch?
So we are not pretending their page has a single machine-readable price. The visible self-service price we are willing to cite is $49 per event day.
