Social wall for events
People searching for a social media wall for events usually want every network on one screen. MentionWall is the X part of that job: hashtags, keywords, and @handles, a public wall, and a scoreboard when the room empties.
Name the meetup, fest, launch, or conference. Or paste a Luma link.
Hashtag, keyword, or @handle. Free is one handle. Paid events allow 8 queries.
Put /w/ on the screen. Afterwards rank authors and engagement from the posts that were stored.
Search results for a social media wall for events are full of products that mix Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, Facebook, and X on one screen. MentionWall does not do that. It is a social wall for the X conversation at an event: hashtags, keywords, and @handles, on a public screen, with a scoreboard after.
That is a smaller product on purpose. There is no monthly seat plan, no design team, and no attendee login. You create an event, add the queries, sync from X, and open /w/ on the display. If your event’s social conversation is on X, you do not need a platform that also embeds Reels. If it is not on X, a social wall that only reads X will not save the lobby screen. Use something else.
The price is the checkout price: ₹2,499 for one event, ₹5,999 for three, one-time, credits for 12 months. Free is one event, one @handle, one preview sync of 20 posts, with a watermark.
The wall shows posts MentionWall has stored, up to 60 on the public display. Paid walls that stay open sync about every 10 minutes. Each sync is the last 6 hours and at most 20 posts. Replies are off unless you enable them. There is no profanity queue and no human moderator in the product. If you need someone to approve every post before it hits a broadcast screen, this is not that workflow.
The organizer page is where the post-event metrics live. Mentions by day, author ranks, and engagement (likes, replies, shares, and impressions) answer “who showed up in the conversation?” after the room is empty. The metrics describe the stored posts. They are not a claim about reach you did not collect.
Meetups, hackathons, launches, college fests, and conferences that already tell people to post on X are the fit. A Luma page can be the start of the event: paste the link, keep the suggested queries you actually want, and use the same wall. The Luma page on this site explains that flow without pretending MentionWall is part of Luma.
Renting a physical social-wall setup for a day is a different purchase, with hardware and an operator. MentionWall is software you open in a browser. It does not ship a screen, a stand, or a person to run it. The comparison is only useful if you were about to pay for a display of X posts and you have a TV already.
One tag, one screen, no production desk. The public link stays logged out. The scoreboard is the recap.
Track the tag across the weekend by leaving a paid wall open so it keeps syncing. The day chart shows demo bursts.
Product handle plus launch tag on one event. Rank the posts you collected. MentionWall does not post for you.
Official fest tag on X, optional sponsor handles on a paid pack. Not an Instagram wall and not a photo booth.
Hashtag plus speaker handles, lobby TVs on /w/, scoreboard for the organizer report.
No. It reads X only: hashtags, keywords, and @handles. Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and Facebook are not sources.
No. They post on X. The screen is a public link.
Mentions by day, an author leaderboard, and engagement ranks for the posts that were stored.
Free to try. ₹2,499 for one event or ₹5,999 for three events, before a coupon. One-time, credits last 12 months.
No. There is no approval queue. Replies can be excluded. If you need pre-moderation, this product does not do it.
